Water Treatment Oversight
DMS offers Facility Oversight services for reviewing water treatment system performance by an industry expert on an ongoing basis. These services are designed to eliminate potential problems, minimize costs and improve performance of water related systems and to supply end users with information to make better decisions relating to a facility’s water treatment system. DMS supplies high quality experienced consultants: DMS has experienced consultants versed in many disciplines of water treatment. Typical consultants have 20+ years of experience in their field of expertise.
DMS utilizes the latest technology and analysis tools: DMS's Oversight maximizes the use of technology to share critical data electronically between our experts for analysis and review. All data is electronically transferred through our DMS: Water platform for quick and efficient evaluation with the latest analysis tools. This allows our experts to spend the majority their time reviewing performance results rather than the tasks of data acquisition and model building.
DMS Water Treatment System Service Program
Depending on the facility, DMS may recommend quarterly on-site visits for at least the first year and if there are no significant issues, on-going visits can be either semi-annually or annually. What ever level of service a client needs, each on-site visit may involve the following:
- On site system walk down by DMS consultant
- Model current water treatment system in AMS
- Validate current chemical treatment program
- Review and analysis of all pertinent chemistry data
- AMS Review
- Review of all water treatment vendor reports
- Cost analysis & review
- Quarterly meeting to review findings
- Quarterly report of all findings
Additional Services
DMS supplies services that can be contracted individually or as part of an on going Oversight Service Program. Although DMS manages all these services, some are supplied through business partners and the results are used by DMS for some analysis.

- Non Destructive Examination
- Analytical laboratory analysis (recommended for each site visit)
- Conceptual engineering for plant re-design
- EPC bid specification development for new systems
- EPC bid specification review
- Waste water chemistry characterization

- Internet-based review meetings
DMS suggests that with every site visit, the optional “Analytical Laboratory Analysis” is utilized, and that that once a year, the following services are recommended:
- Chemical program vendor review & possible re-bid
- Pressure vessel inspections
- Non destructive examination
